Dr Vanessa is a Specialist Periodontist with advanced training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry from the UCL Eastman Dental Institute. She holds Membership in Periodontics (MPerio) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Certificate of Completion of Specialised Training from the European Federation of Periodontology.
Her clinical practice focuses on evidence-based management of advanced periodontal and peri-implant disease, including surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapy, gum grafting, implant placement, and bone grafting. Dr Vanessa works closely with referring dentists and hygienists to support shared care and long-term, predictable outcomes. She is also trained in conscious sedation, helping anxious patients feel at ease during treatment.
Dr Vanessa graduated from the University of Leeds and completed core hospital training in Oral Surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at King’s College Hospital London, providing a strong surgical foundation. She has a keen academic interest in patient-reported outcomes and was awarded the British Society of Periodontology Systematic Review Prize for her research into gum recession treatments.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys pilates, spending time with family and friends, and following Formula 1.
